Strawberry Fields Forever - Beatles

この歌の曲調が好き。

歌詞は、深くて浅い感じで、けど、困惑する。

この曲が出て何年もたった今、初めて歌詞をじっくり聞いた。

不思議な感じだけど、惹かれる。



Strawberry Fields は、リバプールにある戦争孤児院の名前だそうです。

Johnが小さいころ近くに住んでいたみたいで、ガーデンパーティなどこのStrawberry　Fieldsで開かれ、レモネードのボトルを１ペニーで売ったりなど、Johnにとって楽しかった思い出の場所。

Johnは、現実から逃げたかったのかも。

一部では、Johnが現実逃避のため、Drugをやっていて、その歌だという説もあるみたいです。
歌詞の中に、一か所を除いては、Drugをほのめかすような言葉がないので。
その一か所とは、Tune in　みたいです。私はDrugをやらないのでよくわかりませんが。
そういわれると、この全体の歌詞をみてみると、やってたのかなという感じに思える。
だとすると、衝撃の事実。

けど、私にとっては、まったく別の風にこの曲を聴いているので、関係ありませんが。
