In summer time, Waimea bay is very calm compared to Winter season when Surf competition is placed in here. This beach is very clean and clear. They have shower and toilet but parking is always full. You might want to park side road or at church about 5 minutes walk.
Ocean is very deep even you only step into about 3 feet from the beach, it is already 5 to 6 feet deep.
Bring snorkel.
Have fun at the famous Waimea beach.
